Air Date:

December 2008

Hour 1: Matthew Hyatt (http://www.giantslayers.com/)

Matthew Hyatt

Matthew Hyatt has been recording music and sound since he was a child. Fascinated by the world of recording he bought his first 4 track when he was 17. Purchasing guitars, analog drum machines, and keyboards, soon his studio would grow into a vehicle for his productions. His production skills have led him down the road of mastering productions for many artists, and his own label artists including Stryke, and DJ Hyperactive. His ear for precision and tone is gaining recognition in the industry. The Giantslayers front man is now pushing forward his vision and sound to people and music lovers around the globe. His sound is always evolving, but he still is influenced by the Chicago and Detroit scenes that he grew up in. This producer and DJ is on the up and up. His newest releases are being played by top DJ’s in the industry. No boundaries, Only believe.

Hour 2: Topher Jones (http://www.myspace.com/djtopherjones1)

Topher Jones2008 is a great year for Topher. Things started quickly when Tiesto asked him to open his "In Search of Sunrise 2008 Tour." Having already received critical acclaim for the universal hit remix of Chasing Cars with Blake Jarrel, Topher is continually signing new music to the biggest labels in trance, including Black Hole, Spinnin Recordings and Intuition Recordings. Two of his tracks reached great success after being featured as Armin van Buuren's Tune of the Week on his weekly A State of Trance radio show. With Topher's tracks being hammered by all the big names along with all of the upcoming releases, 2009 looks to be a breakout year for this up-and-comer.
