I did a DJ gig for the
cheerleading/football coaches (because my kids are that age now…yikes) and they liked the way i mixed songs. So they asked me to do the sound at competitions this fall and if i could put squad
tracks together for the cheer teams.
Anyone do this before? I have mixmeister software(got it with my Omni) but i havent really played with it. Seems it would be easy enough. But i really need to st and play with the software.

Cool! Nice work. The only experience I have with this is I put together 3 or 4 different tracks or songs together for a dance rountine. They were like 1 minute snippets of songs. I just put them together with cool sound effect transitions and they seemed to like it.

I feel like with games and stuff, you don’t get a whole lot of time for music to play, you’d be better off with something that lets you trigger tracks quickly, like if you loaded tracks/samples into Ableton and used triggers to play tracks on the fly.

This would be a 90 sec routine. but some teams had fast transitions and the beat was around 140. ANd you could tell some one didnt lock teh key down cause it sounded like chipmunks. Ah well …i’ll see.

thats it? then just pre-record/mix it with Ableton and you’ll be good to go.
