We also finally have the conclusion to DJ Dual Core’s sampling series. This article is an in-depth piece on setting up multi-sample instruments. If you want to start incorporating live samples into your productions, this article is a must read. It is one of the most in-depth articles I have read in a while. Check it out. I know you will find it useful. We are also beginning a series on Native Instruments DJ software, Traktor. Deeflash starts us out with just a real quick intro to the basic functions of beatgriding, cue points and looping. We are going to be continuing the series with some advanced techniques. So if this one seems too basic, that’s ok. We wanted to start at the basics. Keep your eyes out for the good stuff coming soon. Matt Hyatt returns with just a short snippit entitled “Aural Talk”. It is short, sweet and to the point with the same great insight we have come to expect from Matt. Lastly, DJ Dave Linton sent us a short piece on the DJ workshops he runs in the community. It is a great little read just about how he has jumped into the community and gotten involved with the youth. I encourage you to take a read and then pray about how God wants you to jump into your community and impact the lives of both young and old. Thanks for reading and I hope to see you at Cornerstone! |

Cornerstone in Bushnell Ill. Afterhours. Tastyfresh.com Generator Statge. It is almost that time again boys and girls. Cornerstone is getting closer and closer and I am getting more and more excited. I was unable to attend last year since I had just returned from the UK, but I heard so many good stories I resolved to go in the next few years. Hopefully I will be able to sort things out and make it out there. I am so excited. This month we have an update on Afterhours, both good and bad. You will have to read to find out…
