The Vitals:Label: Plastic City Factor Scores:Production Quality: 8.5 Hyatt's Take:While listening to this release, I couldn't help but fade away a bit. It reminded me so much of why I loved early Detroit techno. For those of you that haven't been around awhile, techno started out very deep, melodic, and atmospheric, with a touch of gospel soul. I like this album a lot. It covers a lot of ground musically and is creating atmosphere and soul that make you want to keep listening. Stryke lays out a well-produced collection of music on this 12-track album. I think you'll find tracks that will be great cranked up in your car or iPod, as well as dancefloors across the globe. If you like past works by Carl Craig and Derrick May, I think you'll find yourself enjoying Stryke and his interpretation of techno and house music. The production is top notch, and the album also reaches out emotionally. It is appealing to many different music lovers alike and definitely deserves your ears.
