The Vitals:Label: 1 Shot Recordings Factor Scores:Production Quality: 7.9 Chris' Take:While technically two tracks, this is being sold as a three track release because the instrumental version of the "Club Mix" is included. This review will focus on the "Club Mix" and the "Native Frequency Remix". Dustin Skiles always offers some great tunes, and "Tell Me" is no exception. I love everything about this track. The spoken vocals—which could convey a spiritual message—are from Breanna Skiles (some of you may remember her from a track called "Alive Again" when Dustin recorded under the psydonym Glare.). Both remixes are very dance floor friendly. When I hear these tracks, I can imagine them being played out in some superclub in the main room by the headlining DJ, and the room is packed. My main problem is that I can't dissect this track well enough to tell you why I feel like that other than that the track is just awesome. The energy, the pace, the sounds, the beat... everything about this track simply rocks my face off. I highly recommended it. |
