Jeremy's Take:

I was excited to have this release assigned to me for review because of other Ultranate singles that I have had in my collection before. The promo file I was given contained 10 versions of the track. iTunes, however, had only 6 tracks. The difference primarily is that iTunes desn't have the radio edits that were included in the promo file.

Last year's remix of "Love's the Only Drug" that Cristian Paduraru put out got me excited, and I was hoping for a mix like that on this release. No such luck for me. What we do get are tracks that bring to mind the words "anthem", "energy", "positive affirmations", and of course "diva vocals". Love them diva vocals.

Most of the mixes lean on a simple formula: DJ drum intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, end. The programing and tones sound like they could have been included in the "Night At The Roxberry" soundtrack. For playing out, the stand-outs for me would be the Risque Radio Mix, The Soulcast Progressive Club Mix, and Matty's All U Got Soulpop Mix. As I continue to listen to these three versions, I am finding the vocals grabbing me more and more. I would love to get my hands on the a capella and a mix from Cristian Paduraru.
