The VitalsLabel: Botchit Breaks Factor Scores:Production Quality: 8.1 Carl’s Take:"Filthy Dirty" is a truly great representation of how breaks should sound. The quality on the track is top-notch, and the structure and flow of this track remind me of what I used to hear at outdoor raves. Progressive breaks and fills are thrown in to keep it going, and the sounds and FX just roll one off the other. If you're looking for a track to throw in your sets to get the place moving, then this is the one for you. Well done, guys. The production on "Freak N Fry" is once again way up there. The style is a little more layed back with a more bouncy beat and funky little organ fills thrown in there. The vinyl scratch sound is so infectious that it brings back memories of Propeller Heads and their funky beats. This track also would be great to drop in your set on the ramp up to hitting the harder tracks. It's a definite winner. Overall, I enjoyed this release very much and am very glad to have reviewed it. I certainly hope to learn off their techniques. Once again, well done. Best of all, it's on vinyl. |
