Brian’s Take:

The label is Dance Latino America Records, and the release features five different, equally original mixes of BSNO's "Holiday". BSNO's original mix of the song is a chunky, driving techno version, playing a lot with stereo effects and the chemistry of the vocal sample throughout the song. Next up, Tomy Wahl drops a very strong electro house mix, complete with rolling analog basslines and all. Changing the pace up, Rolancho provided us a minimal remix of "Holiday". The beats are hard, the production tight, but if you're not specifically a fan of minimal, you might not enjoy this particular mix.

Van Lazarux lays down the next remix, which is another tech house version, yet more minimal than the others of its style. Personally, this is my favorite remix. Finally, Mora and Morales take us home with the final remix of the release. Theirs is an old-school sounding hard techno remix. It's satisfying to the ears, but it doesn't show a great deal of deviation from the original.

The overall ratings I chose to give this release say it all. They are a great set of remixes from start to finish. Each one is completely different and fun to listen to. Furthermore, this release contains material for fans of tech house, electro house, minimal, and techno, rather than leaving it at one.
