Chris' Take:

This is a great release from Tomy Wahl and DLA Records. It really showcases the experimental nature of the techno genre and Tomy's ability to create strong driving tracks. You can drop any of these 3 tracks on the floor and completely tear the roof off the house. My particular favorite was "Galactica", which has a feel like it just can not build any higher but then it just gets bigger and bigger.

Production Quality: 8.3

All 3 tracks are very well mixed. All the synth sounds are clear, and the drums hit hard. The tracks have an overall well-produced sound.

Programming and Arrangement: 7.9

The tracks are very well arranged and keep from getting you bored with the arrangement. The only thing that I did not like was that the tracks do not have DJ-friendly intros for mixing in. "Galactica" just starts straight into a full beat that would work great if you are looking to do a dramatic drop, but otherwise it would be hard to mix in. Otherwise, I found all the tracks very well arranged, and the changes came in just in time to keep you interested and keep the excitement built up.

Entertainment Quality: 8.4

Overall the release is great, and I found it very entertaining to review. Tomy is a great producer, and he has a way of keeping the tracks danceable but also interesting enough to listen to anywhere, be it driving in the car, hanging out, or just on your headphones.

Summary:

I am very impressed by this release. Actually while listening, recommended it to a couple friends who are not usually into EDM-style tracks. This is a release that I could play quite a few times over and not grow tired of because of the many different layers of sound that he pulls together.
