I was really disappointed with this release. The first remix was the "DJ Harvey's Master Data Mix" and was very poor conceptually and musically lacking in all areas of production and programming/arrangement. The guitar piece needed some serious work, and the vocal sample was also somewhat unimaginative. I wrote this one off early in the game and proceeded to remix number two.

Number two was The Glimmer's "Hacienda Dub". The track did display much more remixing skill and had a Latin flavor with electro sensibilities. However, I still felt it was a bit lacking, although it shows promise for the future.

I hope both remixers continue to strive for marketability, but I feel it's some distance off, especially for the Masterdata Mix. Better luck next time.
