Tastyfresh Sound SystemMany of us are excited for this year’s get together at Cornerstone. I wish that it was all going down right now but I am glad to have a little more time to take care of the details left to be done. This year I will be running a sound system during the day to help promote the Dance Club at night.

At the heart of the sound system will be a Honda EU200i generator. This was purchased with donations from many people here in the Tastyfresh community; a big thank you to every one of you. I was shocked by the support. We had donations by people that wont even be able to come to Corner 2007. Amazing. All together Just under $1100.00 was put together for this project.

The Generator Stage

Another part of the sound system will be my 1992 Dodge mini van. It's a $500.00 beater that I painted flat black last year and ripped out the seats to use it to haul my DJ gear. Yesterday I cut a 2' x 4' hole in to the roof to start converting it in to mobile DJ booth. I have also been designing and building a canopy to go over the van that will be about 10' high and cover about 16' x 12' for sun and rain protection.

I have also been in communication with many people to set up a line up of performers for the sound system. Here is what we have come up with. The sound system runs from 1:00 P.M. till 6:00 P.M. Tuesday through Friday.

Tuesday

1:00 Jeremy Kadinger
2:00 Dave Richards
3:00 Fitzpatrick
4:30 Adam Sean

Wednesday

1:00 Dee Flash
2:00 DJ Glow
3:00 Oneel
4:30 Alex B

Thursday

1:00 Fluffypuppy
2:00 Jahkoda
3:00 Joel Armstrong
4:30 TBA

Friday

12:00 Communion Service / Free Lunch
12:00 TBA
1:30 Doug Theodore
2:30 TBA
4:00 3kStatic

One last thing to mention is that we had some money leftover and that will go toward free lunch on Friday at 12:00 noon. With the help of Dee Flash we will serve up a huge pot of homemade chili. We will be starting lunch with a Communion ceremony for all that are there. If the week at Cornerstone is as fun as the past few weeks of planning have been then Cornerstone 2007 will be a good time.
