Du Nord's Take:

I just couldn't quite connect with this one. Very esoteric and "out there", but not something I'd pop into my player often, if at all. The music is well done, just not in a style I can personally appreciate.

Especially of concern to me was the song "Bring the Herb", featuring Musical Sniper. It's a main track and a remix on the album and just brought me down. I was a chronic smoker in high school and can tell you the disaster it can wreak in a young life, especially if your brain chemistry is abnormal like mine. I just don't want to hear this kind of nonsense in my music at all; it's very disconcerting. And maybe, just maybe that's why I can't connect with this album.

If the "Herb" references are a clue, this is Ganja music through and through. Please don't think I'm being judgmental, I can't stand alcohol music like "My Way" either. Yeah, I have issues, don't we all.

Once again, this is a "creative" album, and the music is produced at a "high" standard (no pun intended), but I just couldn't appreciate it from my point of view and personal taste in music. The tracks just seem to wander aimlessly (musically), and nothing really caught my attention for long.

I'm sorry if this was a rant, but this album is something way off my radar. I don't like it and I won't listen to it. It demonstrates intelligence and creativity, no doubt, just not a focused and healthy passion that leads to life and peace. If I offend, my apology is offered. This is where I'm at with this release.
