Brian’s Take:

To start, the promo service we received this release from only provided us with three of the nine songs on the full album: "I Need A Miracle", "Take Me By The Hand", and "Give Me Love". However, I was able to make a decent projection about the rest of the album based on the few songs I heard.

In a nutshell, the writing was well-done, but not entertaining in the least. The mix, needless to say, was far from perfection, leaving a lot to be desired. The production of the record was obviously on a professional level, but it had no creativity and frankly sounded like hundreds of other top 40/dance records I've (sadly) already heard. Unfortunately, I have to stoop to dub this release a boring cliché of a vocal cheesefest. The only things that even come close to redeeming this album are some of the outside vocal performances, like Jan Johnston's.

If I had to sum it up in one sentence, I'd have to say, do not waste your money or time on this release, unless you are a fan of extremely commercial trance/house. After my first listen, I put on Shiloh's "Bleed" to get rid of the bad aftertaste. Better luck next time, Imbres.
