Du Nord's Take:

I have been a big fan of Joel's work for some time and love his attention to detail in his tracks. This track is great and continues a trend for Joel as a rising star in progressive house music. The release includes a remix by Derek Howell, an ambient mix, and even a "Tool," which I'm assuming is intended for DJs to help with transitions and mixing. I haven't tried the "Tool" yet but will in the future.

The original mix is solid with great flourishes and baseline, very dream-state inducing. The "Tool" is more of the synth flourishes without any other instruments, and it's very short. Just a segue way, I suppose. The Danny Howells remix is outstanding and brings more of a kick and drive to the track. Danny does a great job of melding his ideas into Joel's previous work, and the result is fantastic. I like the emotional high this track produces—very good for the dance floor. The ambient mix is a great chill-out interpretation by Joel and highlights some of the delicacy and beauty of the composition.

Overall I think Joel is just getting better and better, and this release is just more proof. Thank you, Joel, for "enriching our ears" with quality music that inspires and elevates our collective moods.
