Noah DeSmit – Trance / Eurotrance / Progressive
Monday, 17 July 2006

In 2000, Kalamazoo, Michigan-based producer and remixer Noah DeSmit already was gaining notoriety for his music as the drummer for the five-man pop-rock band Berkshyre. While performing and recording with Berkshyre, Noah began his solo dance music career. His remix of the track "Prepare" appeared on Coco Street's 2003 Nu Quest double-12" Visitation.

The Demulcent Records CDr of Redsavior's Flow: The Remixes EP released another remix by Noah in 2004. That same year, he released the album I See Grace (The Remixes) through a cooperative effort between Demulcent Records and Low Roof Records. Artists such as Siminz, Quillroader, and Timo Rozendal brought a diverse range of styles to the remixes they produced of Noah's track.

Berkshyre disbanded in 2005, but from its remnants emerged the electrona-rock duo Tommy Tomorrow. Noah plays guitar and keyboards, handles the sequencing, and sings background vocals, while David Goodrich—Noah's long-time friend and fellow former member of Berkshyre—plays guitar and keyboard and sings lead. The two have already established a solid fan base, locally and on MySpace.
