Though I was surprised to be asked to review this particular release (for obvious reasons), I found myself immediately more impressed by it than Xeton's "Q106EP". The two-track release of Python's "Porno" features an original mix and a remix by label co-founder Dom Kane. Python's original mix is a wicked and layered masterpiece, teeming with excellent twists and turns. With just about every sign of a quality tune, the original mix has great production and a creative, original sound. Though Dom Kane's remix has its positive differences, it stays faithful to the original mix's strong suits. With a heavier bassline and a more "shaken up" vibe, Kane's mix is more of a funky techno tune, whereas Python's original is nothing more than a tech house track.

Personally, it didn't strike me that this release is lacking much. Being picky, the mastering could have been a smidgen cleaner on both tracks. Other than that, I found both mixes to be written and produced well and incredibly enjoyable. For those who have been wondering since they read the title, there is nothing vulgar or obscene in either of the mixes. In short, I highly recommend checking this release out, whether you typically listen to tech house or not.
