Du Nord’s Take:

This is a 2005 track that just won’t quit. I would assume all the Trance-lovers out there are familiar with both Cosmic Gate and Jan Johnston and this is a winning combination from start to finish. Jan has a great vocal style and her lyrics are far from cheesy in a genre that has its fair share of just that. Cosmic Gate is a great producer with a simple melody line that ebbs and soars throughout the song. The “hovering” and “foreboding” bass line has great appeal (to my ears) and this song sounds especially good loud when you can hear all it’s subtleties and nuances.

There are five tracks on this single starting with a 7-inch mix that whets the appetite going into a 12-inch mix followed by the lengthy and beautiful AM to PM Mix (also Cosmic Gates). The track that just blows me off the map though is the Riley and Durrant Remix, which starts off slow and low and then builds into one of the best bass lines I’ve heard in Trance thus far. Pulsing and morphing, this track just makes you wanna head for the dance floor! And who wants cake with out a little icing?
