Du Nord's Take:

I picked up this album because the group has devoted following and I wanted to see what the buzz is about. I like Trance and I wasn’t familiar with Goa so I gave it a spin (literally).
I listened to the title track on the Listening Station at Tower Records and immediately loved the bass line and vocal samples.

Done deal. Went to my car, ripped off the wrapper and popped it into my player. Unfortunately the buzz wore off on tracks two through ten as I heard some good programming but the arrangements left a little to be desired. It devolved into a very Techno sounding mixture of sounds and knob twisting that I began to appreciate less and less as the album wore on. I guess I’m just not a Tech-head and like real song structures and not just endless tricks and noises. It’s not all bad mind you, just not my cup of tea.

I won’t be getting any more of their albums anytime soon and spinning them wouldn’t happen either (I think?). I consider my taste in music to be diverse but this just stretches me to the limit. Ah well, live and learn.
