This certainly sounded interesting when I picked it up the other day. Hmm… Chill and House… Chill House! I really had high hopes for this release but alas, it was not to be fulfilled. The CD is a sampler of different groups doing variations on this theme of chill house. Unfortunately, this is a collection of good ideas that really needs much more polish and depth to be commercially viable on larger scale.

The lack of vocals and more samples left me wanting more variety and substance on these tracks. The songs were well intended and had a good feel but eventually went nowhere and left me disappointed. I hope the producers will take more time in the future and include vocals combined with stronger arrangements and perhaps tighter production in general. Better luck next time.
