Vitals:

DJ/Artist Name: Craig White
Location: Indiana
Bio: It's difficult to describe Sheltershed. Some would say it's "electronic". Others would claim it to be the ungerground of "electro-core". Most find themselves at a loss for words. Sheltershed's live performances take 2 forms: a "DJ Lead Worship" experience that deliberately creates an environment of music, sights and a community to lead the participants in a worshipful encounter with God. Interview:

What is the thing you like most about DJing?

I love to Worship God. When I’m in the role of a DJ or performing I consider myself a worship leader. However, it is actuality easier to worship when someone else is the Dj.

How would you describe your style?

I can’t.

How does your faith influence your DJing?

Let me start by giving our mission statement:

Mission Statement: Sheltershed is an underground ministry experience that seeks to provide a means of worship and celebration.  To accomplish this, Sheltershed provides an avenue for praise through music, dance and community.  Through its unconventional style, Sheltershed is dedicated to servant hood and upholding traditional Biblical principles.

It’s all about Passion & Serventhood. It makes sense to me that God wants me to focus my ministry efforts in an area that I’m passionate about. I love the scene & music and am energized by people & relationships.

Trust in the LORD, and do good; so you will dwell in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.
— Psalm 37:3-5

What excites you most about playing Cornerstone this year?

Other than the Worship leader thing that I mentioned earlier, I think I’m just as excited to re-connect with all my friends and to met new “blood” in the scene.

Who is the DJ/Artist you look up to the most?

Lately have been embracing the ideas and leadership of the dudes in the forefront of the DJ Lead Worship Scene; Andy Hunter and Doug Ross. As far as Dj/producer I am really diggin the direction that Ferry Corsten. He is on track with the future of Electronic Music blending more with rock and pop.
