Bio: A DJ since 1989, Davo has spun everywhere from Cornerstone music festival in Illinois to Soulfest in New Hampshire. He's played on the same bill with everyone from Scott Blackwell to C-3PO. He's also opened up for diverse acts such as the Newsboys, Jason Upton, Superchick, and Faith Massive. He's co-founder of Shine productions, a rave ministry team out of Detroit, and works with Eternal Productions and House Party. Recently Davo also started Demulcent Records (www.demulcent.com), a record label dedicated to putting out the highest quality dance music done by dedicated Christians. During his DJ sets he plays samples of preachers, pastors, TV shows, and even movie audio clips over his sets to get the gospel message out in a relevant way.

What is the thing you like most about DJing?

Getting the crowd dancing & throwing down the perfect set (still waiting for that one to happen!)

How would you describe your style?

Trance, Trance, and more Trance.

How does your faith influence your DJing?

I'm extremely picky about the content i play. I also add audio/vocal samples into my sets to express my faith through my sets.

What excites you most about playing Cornerstone this year?

The chance to meet and fellowship with all these people that i've only talked to online for years.

Who is the DJ/Artist you look up to the most?

I'm sure everyone will say Andy Hunter or Shiloh, and i have to agree on both counts. Others I look up to aren't necessarily the famous guys,but the guys who pour their hearts and souls into what they do because they love God. Guys like DJ Race, Rish, HeldByWill, Hyp0static, Glow, Carey Jarvis, and tons of others.
