Van Lazarux brings us a 3-track EP with dance-floor minded tracks. The original mix is a well produced house track with a techno feel. Like the track title is saying, it has a dirty bass that drives the track. It would probably sound huge on a large soundsystem. |

Next Dimension presents Tiago AZ's new deep house EP entitled The Other Side of the Moon. Generally when it comes to the style of deep house, it takes quite a bit to impress me. I'll admit I was much more impressed than I initially thought I would be. |

Well, once again, slick packaging and a fabulous girl made me buy a CD. Ok, I also wanted Filterfunk's remix of "Message in a Bottle" (The Police) in my collection. I was a huge Police fan and this is a very good remix, so here we go…. |

I like the stuff Om Records puts out, and DJ mixes are a staple for me as I love to hear new tracks and a continuous groove. It makes driving so pleasant for me, you know? |

This is an interesting and techy track with good programming and arrangement. There is no vocal or samples to add to the quality of the song, so it must stand on its own merits as an instrumental track. |

The original "Remember Jack" mix is a modern acid house track with an oldskool vocal talking about the infamous "Jack" (i.e., dancing to house music). The release features three remixes using the same vocal but each with a different house sound. |

From New York City's hair-stylist turned singer, D'Andre, comes the new house single, "Whatever". This slick-sounding single is produced by Wolfram Dettki, (who produced pop/dance singer Amber) with soulful R&B textured vocals from D'Andre. This single includes the original track and 6 remixes: 3 extended mixes and 3 radio mixes. |

In the "Original Vocal Mix", Tom Sawyer delivers a clubby track with clear female vocals.... The "Dub Remix" has more energy and is more aimed at the dance floor.... My favorite track is Gtek's remix. It adds a lot of warmth to the original. |

I don't know the original version of this track, so I can't compare the remixes to the original.... Sur-Face's remix is raw and dark and has this nice deep techy bassline coming a few minutes into the track.... Van Lazarux's remix has a clear sound, is well produced, and has energetic beats. |

I really like these tracks. Tribal House is not my specialty nor have I been extremely interested or drawn to the genre in the past. However, these tracks are really, really good and have piqued my interest somewhat. |

This is the best Defected release I’ve heard so far. It has many fine tracks from some of the greats, like Moloko, Joi Caldwell, and many more. I love Vocal House, and this disc serves it up with great style. This is great driving or just relaxing at home music before heading to the club or wherever life is taking you today. |
