Very good release, another good solid release here. It's just about as good as the Logistics release I heard recently. There's some good stuff coming out of Hospital Records.

DUNAM!S – Revelations EP

At first glance, Dunamis' Revelations EP (Deeplife, 2006) brought to mind another drum n' bass record that I quite like: the hard, dark compilation The Horsemen Present: Apocalypse LP (Renegade Hardware, 2005). Both records are obviously apocalypse-themed and, in a general sense, of the same style. Both come from the hard, less R&B and hip-hop influenced side of drum n' bass.

Mezo & Dr. Nast E - Elation EP

First, if there was a genre for this release, I would put it in vocal drum n bass. This is a 3-track EP, with radio and extended mixes of the title track "Elation" and another track called "Superconscious". The production quality is very good, compares on level with already released music on bigger labels, very well done.

Spiritually Minded - Fanatic

First off, I would like to give great marks but, at the same time, point a few things out and help a brother in Christ. This was a good album for the liquid drum n bass/trip-hop crowd, but I felt it lacked in quality as far as sound and production.

Logistics - Now More Than Ever

I was excited to listen to this record. Anyone familiar with Logistics and his brand of drum & bass would be. Many drum & bass DJ mixes over the last 6 months have been dropping select tracks from this album, and it has only served to increase my love of this producer's music.

Fienix Presents the Disc
Written by David Richardson

The Disc is the soundtrack to a low-budget action flick released by Faith Road (www.faithroad.com). You can grab that flick on DVD or QuickTime on the site if you are interested. Fienix recently appeared on Osmotic Wave, the follow up to Osmotic Hype with a fairly standard trance track. This CD however is almost all Drum and Bass ranging from the more atmospheric tracks you would expect from Joey Davis and Ceder to some harder hitting and darker numbers that you might find the Evol Intent boys and others would release.

Stumblebum – Frequency (Limited Edition)

If you are a fan of drum & bass looking for something different, you could do a lot worse than to spend $7 on this CD. Stumblebum has used a lot of the proceeds for this CD to support his girlfriend’s overseas mission trip, so the money you spend on it is going to a great cause.
