"Take You Back" is the first track up on this release. First off, the song has very good vibe to it, and I like the atmosphere it produces. It has a good range of sounds and good quality in the production.

First track up on this release is "Recognize" the original mix. First thing that stands out on this track is the funky bassline. I like it and the edits that they used. Another track with a good vibe, this is a good dancefloor track.

Merka brings a new offering of acid jazz disco electronic breaks to the table with this 11-track recording called Beserka. It is a fresh imagining of the bigbeat genre with all the good stuff you would expect.

Wow… Hybrid has done it again. The Welsh breaks duo composed of Mike Truman and Chris Healing is back with their third full-length LP, entitled "I Choose Noise". This record is 67 solid minutes of mind-opening and beautifully written dance music (primarily breaks). The moods range from late-night floor-fillers to casual in-home chill music.

I have said it multiple times now, the Chance’s End Saturn Remix rocks. If you can only check out one mix from this release, check out that one.

“The Serin Effect” has a few programming problems, but it is well produced, and its forward thinking vibe makes it well-worth a good listen. I may or may not use it in a set one night, but I do recommend that fans of dark breakbeat give it a chance.

This song compares favorably to any progressive breakbeat release on the market and it won’t be leaving my crate for a while.
