Matt Welch and Terry Ryan are Atomic Hooligan, and I can best describe them as "DJ meets Rock music". It's definitely music for the dance floor, but it kind of plays out like a rock track, and I am a fan!

What can I say about the original mix? Wow! It has funky breaks, a fantastic beat, and an awesome bassline. The vocal samples compliment it so well, and there is even scratching in there. It has it all.

Overall, I enjoyed this release very much and am very glad to have reviewed it. I certainly hope to learn off their techniques. Once again, well done. Best of all, it's on vinyl.

Dan Auxiliary and John Dubbs are "Shopliftas". Their latest collaboration is "a disco break'n, hammock shakin' rain dance that they like to call Freak Out."

The track is called "7Days & 7 Nights", and it plays out more like a mixset than just one track. I suppose this is what a live concert performance from Reborn would sound like.

Wasted Youth, the first of their objectively big releases, pairs two chunky new school breaks mixes, both featuring the fitting vocals of singer Mary Leay.

This is a good release… definitely some good breaks tracks. Better than ones I've heard lately. It's worth checking out.

From the simple repetitive bassline to the reggae-tinged vocals and electro elements, the original track is exactly what I would expect of a 1990 rave track. But now, 17 years later, the old track gets some new chrome and contours as it gets worked on by two current breaks artists.

Opening with what can only be described as the soundtrack to a sci-fi suspense movie, the first track in this REX duo release drops us at the edge of space with a rough and tumble sound system destroyer.
