Well, if you are a regular to the site, you’re probably asking yourself what just happened. About six months ago, I started the process of redesigning Tastyfresh.com. There were two main goals in the upgrade. First, I wanted to make editing easier so that I could hand parts of the site upkeep off. Second, I wanted to flesh out the site more. I wanted navigation that would really feed the content to the site’s users and I wanted to bring in more content to help people find the information they were seeking more easily. Let’s talk about two specific areas of improvement. |

Well, it’s the night before I launch this issue of the Tastyfresh.com zine. One thing that you may have noticed of late is that there are fewer and fewer photos. I believe there is only one in this issue outside of my mug shot to the left. |

It’s hard to believe, but in December of 2006, Tastyfresh will be ten years old. I don’t think that Jamey expected this place to last that long or even thought that far ahead when he started it. I know I didn’t even think about it when I took over a few years ago. Man, it’s been a few years now since I took over from Jamey hasn’t it. |

I am so hopelessly addicted to Star Wars in general, that I just can’t stay away for long. I guess this is where the spiritual tie-in comes: I am hopelessly addicted to Star Wars, but I can’t honestly say the same about Jesus. I should be. I want to be, but I am constantly screwing up. |

Two weeks ago, Hurricane Katrina SLAMMED the Gulf Coast. Over half a million people were without power in that region. Homes all across the coast were destroyed. It didn’t matter if you were a poor family barely trying to make it by or US Senators. The storm destroyed literally everything. |

Well, here is yet another issue of the Tastyfresh.com Ezine. Again, it is packed with a wealth of information, opinions, and well… useless information to keep you happy for two months. In the last issue, we focused on the annual event known as Cornerstone. We interviewed the performers, the promoters and even got feedback on how to make a better demo for next year’s event. Cornerstone ended July 3rd without a hitch. Everyone is back home now and many if not all of those who attended are experiencing a spiritual high. |

Today, I am finally writing the intro for the new issue. Everything is done except linking in the files and writing this one last piece. It’s almost done. I’m almost there. This has been a rough issue to get done. One of the biggest reasons was the birth of my son last month. Eric Scott Richardson is now 10 lbs and 23 inches long. I can’t believe he’s here. We’ve waited so long for him and we weren’t even expecting him. He truly is a gift from God and with that gift comes the challenge of balancing work, Tastyfresh, my music, my family and well… my video game addiction. All of that combined with the fact that this issue is DOUBLE in size meant I was in for a rough time getting it out. But… it’s here now. Let the celebration begin while I step out and take a 5 min. breather. |

It’s been a busy two months. At least it has been around my house. With less than one month to go before my first son will be born, the only thing that seems to be certain is his name: Eric Scott Richardson or if the Ultrasound was wrong... Erica. I’m excited, but I’ve been so busy painting rooms, stressing out at work, coordinating this zine and helping my wife out that there has been very little time for relaxing. I still have found time to beat Star Wars Republic Commando, gain a level or two in World of Warcraft and work on some new tunes. Heh… I am starting to suspect that my music no longer exists simply because I have not been releasing it. I can assure you that there are close to ten unreleased Redsavior tracks out there right now. I will probably start to shop those around in May. |

Well, it has been yet another two months since the last issue. A lot has happened in the lives of some and not much has changed in the lives of others. I think the best place to start is with a bit of good news. |

You are now looking at the fourth official release of the Tastyfresh.com Ezine. Yippee! A lot has changed in the past two months. I wish that we could have kept up a monthly publishing schedule, but I think the content of this issue more than makes up for it. Having two months to produce this material has made my life easier. |

Well, it has been well… It has been much longer than I anticipated for this next issue. There have been several reasons for this. July was a month covered with vacations and changes in my life as well as Bill Sikes and Doug Jones’ lives. To make a long story short, in early August, Doug decided that he was not the right person to be the editor of this zine. Bill Sikes also left for various reasons which he has expressed in the forums. |
