I probably won’t be playing this track out, but some trance and progressive deejays will find it to be a good fit, so it’s worth taking the time to check out the sample at www.positivenergy.net.

“The Serin Effect” has a few programming problems, but it is well produced, and its forward thinking vibe makes it well-worth a good listen. I may or may not use it in a set one night, but I do recommend that fans of dark breakbeat give it a chance.

This cd is rough around the edges, but it has a few very good songs and a vibe that I can connect with. I’m going to give a few of the stronger tracks some play during my next performance and I really like relaxing to the title track, Walkaway. That alone is probably worth the price of the disk.

This song compares favorably to any progressive breakbeat release on the market and it won’t be leaving my crate for a while.
