This release is the latest release from the group that brought us the brilliant Lean On Me track that was remixed by Solarstone a couple of years back. This album is different as it taps into a more Dub sound and is experimental in nature. Well programmed and well written music that is great to listen to may never make dance floor status as it is better suited to a Lounge night than House or any other style. |

This time all of my reviews have a similar element: Markus Schulz. It’s not that I have a deep-seated love for the guy, but I do enjoy some of his music. Not all of it mind you, but some. |

I have said it multiple times now, the Chance’s End Saturn Remix rocks. If you can only check out one mix from this release, check out that one. |

To be totally honest, this has not been an easy single to review. So much has already been said about it on the Tastyfresh.com message boards and I hope that this review will stir up some additional discussion. One thing that really does stick out in my mind is that the single could have been more successful with fewer remixes. Coming from me, the producer who has released singles with 6-10 mixes on them for the past several years, this marks a major shift in my own thinking. |

From the perspective of a progressive house and tribal lover, this CD is a bit much for me. From a production standpoint, there are some real gems on the compilation. I am very happy to see a compilation from a Christian label with some new producer names on the line up. The more quality talent we have the faster our scene will grow. Also, I am very impressed with Shiloh’s willingness to participate in the current string of compilations from Low Roof/Deep Sink, Demulcent, and Devout Artists despite their fame outside of the Christian scene. In so many ways, they need to be a model that we as Christian producers and DJs follow. |

If you are looking for hard Paul van Dyk style trance ala the Colombia EP or earlier, this is not it. If you are looking for emotional epic trance with a dark edge to it that is well arranged, this would be a CD to pick up. It is beautiful in every respect, but it is not exactly perfect. |

It is progressive, it is techie, and it is tribal. I just like it. I do wish that the remix had been a bit more aggressive in nature and had moved further away from the original mix than it did, but it is a nice subtle remix. Sometimes the best remixes vary the most from the original and sometimes they do not. Regardless, the remix is just as good as the original. |

DJs really need to look into the DJ Light, Matt Harder and Apoq 79 remixes on this release. Those three alone would make for a decent purchase from beatport.com. Catnap’s remix of It’s Strange would be a nice guilty pleasure as well, but probably not one you would play out. Just avoid the Sheltershed remix if possible. |

If you are a fan of drum & bass looking for something different, you could do a lot worse than to spend $7 on this CD. Stumblebum has used a lot of the proceeds for this CD to support his girlfriend’s overseas mission trip, so the money you spend on it is going to a great cause. |
