I've played a lot of FPS, but none of them are as awesome as the Halo games.
I've beat Halo 3 on Legendary, and the other settings, and I still love playing all the levels over and over again, it is sooooo much fun!
Before I played I always heard people talk about it, but I never understood what the big deal was. Now that I've played all 3, I think it's quite possibly the best game EVER.
Can't find the live action thing, but would love to see it!

IMHO Call of Duty 4 is the best FPS out there ATM!

Yeah, COD 4 is pretty freaking incredible. Though it's not really my style; I've never really gone for the hyper realistic earth warfare games. A bit of fantasy/grunge is more my thing: Halo, Gears of War, Bioshock, etc.

The problem with COD4 is that LAN-style multiplayer SUCKS.
When you link PS3's or Xbox's to play it (i think both of them suffer from this)... you can only play 1 person per each console. You can't do 4 vs 4 like halo, and other games can (with two consoles).

Yes! Just beat it on Legendary. Ownage.
The Cortana mission (where you have to find her, inside High Charity) is the devil. Just the devil. Worst mission ever. Maybe worse than The Library from Halo 1.
OK, maybe not.

No the library is by far the hardest or the level after. Wait I forgot about Keyes that level was insane. At the end there are around 30 spec op elites you have to get through. That was intense

True! Those guys were rough.
I heard Frankie say that in Halo 3 they wanted to reduce the loggerheads that happened in previous Halos, when playing on Legendary. You'd often get to points where you just couldn't move on. That's certainly the case, Halo 3 legendary was an easier trip than the previous versions, but still mind-numbingly hard in spots. It was more fun overall, thoroughly I enjoyed it. Though I would have liked a bit more bonus content/dialogue in the cutscenes because of being Legendary. Halo 2 had quite a bit of that.

I feel that Halo I had the most since of accomplishment when beating on legendary. I think Halo 2 was harder just cause in co-op if one person died than it was gameover and back to a checkpoint. But It really felt more epic in Halo

I would agree with that. The first time you beat the final Warthog race... what a feeling!
We used to do that Warthog race on Legendary at parties.
Such nerds.

The Library was gruesome!
Legendary setting on H3 rocks, it makes you so much better of a player!
I never played legendary on 1 or 2, will have to buy or rent and try that out sometime.
Halo 3 is the only one I own.

I did Legendary on Halo 1 using the popular second player exploit... where you use a dummy second player so you can respawn when you die. Not very professional.
Halo 2 Legendary owned me. Every time. I couldn't do it.
