Hey All,

I've been praying about if I should attend a 24-7 Broiler/Prayer Room gathering Feb 8-10 in Madison, WI.

There are several things that stand in the way of me going and I need to RSVP by 1/15.

Would you guys join with me in prayer about this?

Thanks.

Here's where I am at in my thinking...please feel free to add your .02 worth...

To go to the gathering would mean 2 days vacation and about $500 in expenses (plane ticket, food, etc).

I found out this morning that my mom (who I see maybe 2 or 3 times a year), along with my aunt and uncle are coming into town on Feb 19 and staying through the 22nd.  My boss has already said I can work half days to spend time with my mom.

I feel like I should not go and use my time to spend with my family.

Hearing from your family might be the answer to your "should I go?" prayer. Don't know. But will keep praying that you'll know what the right thing is.

Hey Cindy ....
Hope you are well!

Unless I am reading the dates wrong, it looks like you can still do both ... or is it a situation of having to choose one or the other?

Why not ask your mom what she thinks??

Also, there will always be another BR / Gathering deal, right?

Peace,

It is a thing of doing one thing or the other.

My mom would never tell me not to go she would say miss the time with her but that's not right.

Yeah there will probably be other meetings and I can't afford to go right now.

There's your answer. I know it sucks, but yeah... there it is. I'm in the same position with some things right now.
