hey guys, i just wanted to throw this out.
im going to be praying tommorow for my trip finances in the morning from about 8 to 10 EST.
as of right now, i need alittle under $5000 to pay for tuition, travel expenses to outreach and in country costs (like soap..and stuff). right now im just overwhelmed at the need. it seems so great, almost too great. i cant see how God is going to provide. i know how God has provided for me in the past but it just seems different. i sent out support letters in mid october, i have recieved like 3 responses. im so behind.
i want to give you guys an open invitation to pray with me. i may do this on a regular basis, i just dont know yet.
Lord, forgive me of my unbelief. i KNOW You can provide, but right now it just seems too great. Lord, there is nothing else i can do. i have sent out letters, i have talked with people, i have set up a support website. it has to be You now God. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord will Provide, and i ask for your provision now Lord.
in your Son's name i pray

i have decided to keep praying on wensday mornings until i leave, and probably afterward.
but i want to broaden the scope. while i would appriciate, and request even, prayer for my fanancial support, i want to make a regular prayer session for all of TF. my general idea is:
1: wendsday at 9-10 EST
2: pray for more and more people to come and be a part of the community
3: pray that when those people come in, we can minister to them where they are and in a way that impacts their lives
4: pray for members ministries (such as The Show, Club Worship, CStone etc)
5: pray for djs and producers, that God would place them in places of influence and strengthen them to bring Christ into the secular scene
6: pray for each other. people like pat d and brian need our constant prayer. but not only for sick, some of us are pressed to make ends meet and other needs.
7: anything that God places on your heart.

i say 9-10 am EST mostly so that we lift our requests at the same time. there is serious power i believe when believers pray with each other and in unity.
i invite you all to set aside this hour, maybe even just 15 minutes and pray.

PS: i went and prayed this morning in my car in the church parking lot with a cup of coffee. was an amazing time and God really spoke into my heart and quieted my soul. thanks for your prayers, but remember, the financial needs is still great, althought NO where near as great as our God!
tmauer, i want to personally (personally online?! haha) thank you. youhave always responded to my requests and i believe that you have made good on those. i wouldnt be suprised if your prayers are the reason God did what He did for me this morning. +2 points for you bro!

i must say, i missed it this morning. i had breakfast with the school leader this morning, thats my excuse and im stickin to it.
