I'll try to have something written up and posted on the home page soon. If anyone wants to volunteer to do it before I get a chance, pm me.

Dave, well done on that write-up.
I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Brian a number of times via IM, email and over the phone a few years back, and he was a class act all around. I had always hoped to one day interview him face to face, but now I'll have to wait a little longer.
In terms of his impact on the scene, words don't even begin to describe.
Rest easy Brian.

Dave, that write up brought tears of joy to me.
On a editorial note in the last paragraph, you typed "mention" and I assume you meant to type "mentor".

Praying for Dana and the kids. I'm sure there's strong sorrow despite the rejoicing in the knowledge that Brian's in heaven now.
Whenever I hear that a Christian dies, I'm reminded of a brief selection from the book "Sole Survivor" by Dean Koontz:
Quote
"If you really believe that she's not dead, that she's only moved on," Joe said coldly, "why cry for her?"
"I'm crying for me," said Louis. "Because she's gone from here and I'll have to wait through a lot of days to see her again."
We rejoice for the brothers and sisters who've gone home, but we weep for ourselves because we miss them, even while knowing that we'll see them again. And I'm sure that God's cool with that.

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.

The first time I ever talked to Brian in person, he called my house in 2005 and pretended to be British. I knew he lived in California but I really didn't know if he was from the States or not. I can still hear his words exactly in a jacked up half British accent "Hey.. Dan.. This is BRYin SCRAWginz from Prawficy of pannik!!"- . He kept the joke going for like 30 minutes as we talked about music, producing, gear.. tons of stuff... finally I was like "dude.. I thought you were from California? ..." and I called him out on it. I thought his accent sounded a little funny!!
We met up at CStone 2005 and talked about lots of stuff. A few weeks after CStone 2005 I was out in LA for work and Brian took the time to drive down to Pasadena with Natefrogg and Hazey Myst and we all had ice cream one evening. I will never forget those times.
My sincerest love to Brian's family.
