Static-X is metal.  Underoath isn't even close.

Underoath is scremo. The end.

Yes and No..... They are classified as a lot of things and Hardcore is one of them

Unless you've been to cstone, you don't get what LT's saying. You have 3 sounds at cstone: screamo, hippie and techno. Guess which we prefer.

<~~~~~ Does not prefer the one Dave suggests.

And there ARE other sounds at C-stone. Just Scremo happens to be running a massive invasion at C-stone.

Hasn't Cornerstone always been a place for more aggressive rock and other genres? Isn't that kindof what it started out of?

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.

So what would any of you say the genre of the band 'Emery'?

Emo.

Underoath is scremo. The end.

Underoath Albums:

The changing of times - Screamo
They're only chasing safety - Screamo
Define the great line - Hardcore

That's about the size of it. Underoath is all over the place with thier style. But I don't like them anymore so it doesn't matter too much to me.

I think of Emo as being a lifestyle, not a musical genre. I can understand a song's lyrics being Emo, but not the music itself.
