Dear TF,
Over the years you have encouraged and supported me as I pursued my dream...a place called the Underground. You have sent me mix cds of songs for our club nights. You have helped spread the word about the place and what we do. Some have played shows on our stage, traveled hours to see a concert, brought smoothies at Cornerstone and you have helped in more ways than I can count or probably even know.
There is no easy way to say what I am about to say nor did I think I would ever be saying this but…
Let me share what Chris wrote,
The UndergroundZone Ministries board of directors have decided that they would like to move in a new direction with The Underground. We have mutually agreed to separate at this time. So, at this point I have resigned along with my wife Monica from staff at The Underground. Although we would have never envisioned this circumstance, we are excited to see what God has in store for us next.
Monica and I founded The Underground almost 10 years ago and have loved every minute of serving the artists that have played at, and the youth and young at heart who have passed through the doors at The Underground. We have truly valued the relationships that we have formed with you guys during the past many years. Music beats through our veins, and we hope this won’t be the last time you hear from us. We truly love all of the friends we have made at The Underground. We hope that in our years of getting to know you guys and serving you here at The Underground we have made some small positive impact on your lives.
Currently, Monica and I are praying for God’s direction and would love for you to remember us in your prayers as well if you feel so inclined.So what does this mean for me? Since the direction and the leadership of the Underground have changed I am resigning from the Underground effective March 8th, 2008.
What does the future hold? Honestly I have no idea. I do ask that you pray for Chris and Monica, myself and the other volunteers. I refuse to believe that this is the end. For me, I have to look at this like it’s a new dawn. We are too good at what we do to just stop.

I am beyond words grateful for all your help, encouragement, and support over the years. Like I said before, this is not the end...it's a new dawn.
