Since Chris Harrington's Vancouver thing won't happen, I am gonna go with my original Plan A, which became Plan B, which is now Plan A again...
We will be doing a progressive cross country countdown. Starting at 10pm Eastern and going till 1am Pacific. Each timezone will have a DJ or two spin and count down their zone to midnight and then shortly after hand it over to the next timezone. I am looking at with the two hours before and after, including the 4 midnight countdowns...maybe a 6 hour broadcast. I will do my best to get it all recorded, but each DJ will also be responsible for recording their own countdown.
So yeah, CTF is the place to be for NYE.

Maybe. The idea is to have live DJ's spinning so that they can do the countdown for their timezone. If you wanted to throw something together, I can put it on either before or after the live schedule.

Eastern time is 5 hours behind uk so 12 midnight is 7pm eastern..
I could do a i could do a 6 till 8pm eastern set?

if I could get a global countdown, that would ROCK! Yes we can definately get you on at whatever time it is here in the states. Wasn't trying to shut you down, just wasn't thinking big enough.

Thanks man! Im planning a 2 hour mix featuring top tunes of each month of 2007. tunes that mean something to me from 2007. Gonna Call it Journey into 2008. Would still like it to broadcast from 5pm eastern. Hope this might fit with the new plan! |
