I think it will be pretty cool. I like that it's all handheld and follows only a few people, and not a huge cinematic style that follows way to many people to care about any of the characters.

Exactly, that's part of why I'm excited, the personal point of view!
People seem to think "Blair Witch" and immediately write it off as a sucky movie whenever this style is used, but it doesn't have to be like that awful movie, and I know it won't be with JJ Abrams at the helm.
That's part of the reason I am so excited too, heck as soon as I saw the Bad Robot logo I was excited before the rest of the trailer even played, and then when it did I was hooked!

JJ Abrams is the creator of LOST, Alias, and also directed Mission Impossible 3.
He has always been amazed at how Godzilla is such a huge part of Japanese culture, and he wants America to have her own giant monster, so he is creating one!
Instead of just doing the giant monster movie he is giving it a fresh point of view by doing it from the point of view of the people experiencing it.
He's also writing the next Star Trek movie!

I'm excited to see Cloverfil just because I love "The Blair Witch Project". How can people think it's an awful movie? It's so original, and tense with the way they tell the story. It's more realistic then 100000000 bloody horror movies we see nowadays. I prefer the sugestion of something strange going on than to see hundreds of bodyes being slashed by a big chainsaw. It scares the heck out of me. Also, I hated Saw 3 & 4, Hostel, Turistas, and Stuff.
By the way, I must say it here for those who watched this crappy movie, "Turistas". People... Brazil is not like that, ok? AHuaHauhAuhAuha
Blessings...
P.S.: Carey, I'm finding in you a great guy to talk about movies, tv series and stuff... You're a great guy!

I agree, I don't like slasher movies, my style is more science fiction or vampires or something. I also agree that Blair Witch style is much scarier with all the tension building.
I like the first person, realistic point of view that Blair Witch had, but there were some things they could have done better. Mostly I said "that awful movie" because it's about a witch and I know there are members here who would have a problem with that.
I think this movie will be much much better!
