I had read Marvel's "What If? Civil War" a few nights ago and it was great!
It contained two different ways that Civil War would've turned out if events had transpired differently--and in my opinion, the second story is the way I wish CW had concluded.

Writer Ed Brubaker (Captain America, Daredevil, Immortal Iron Fist) is a power-house! I've yet to read a book by him that has ever disappointed me. He and Geoff Johns have been my favorite and most consistent writers to date.

The last time I actually bought a set was about 8 months ago. Incredible Hulk "World War" (I think) and right after Cap was killed, Wolverine and Spidey.

I'm kinda behind on whats going on. The Mutant registration act is where I left off. Sad

Yeah, "World War Hulk" was the name of the series by the way. No I'm not nit-picking. I'm just letting you know what it's called. Smiley

Marvel Civil War started out great but ended very sour. Delays came and Marvel started unnecessarily crossing over into more books thinking it would make up for all the other books that were supposed to release on time.

And what did we end with?

Captain America being defeated by EMTs, Firefighters and Police Officers of various ethnicity:

Captain America discovering that he knows nothing about "what America really stands for" because he's not a pop-culture junkie like Ms. Floyd here:

And...

And you know what?

"It wasn't worth it."
