Feeding tube update:
I will go see the doctor again on Monday, but until then, my pain is getting more unbearable. I am taking the pain meds, but they just are not strong enough to overcome. Also, the site starting to get really red, I think it's a sign of something really wrong, which I guess helps to my advantage.

I am officially taking time off work due to much fatigue and nausea. I am initially only taking two weeks off, but depending on how I feel I may need more time. Work is being extremely cool about this, but I have used up my PTO already and have dipped into advance PTO that I have to work back. I have applied for short term disability, but that has to be approved by our works insurance and only pays 60% of my weekly salary.

If ever a time for paypal donations were needed, it is now. my paypal is still my dj404com@gmail.com addy.

By the way, I am having a kinda bad few days. I had to have a "smart port" installed on the left side of my neck for my chemo treatments. My veins were refusing the IV's and this was the only solution. It kinda hurts, but mostly I am very sleepy and ironically having trouble sleeping. I am better today, but wow, yesterday was awful. They say the pain from it should stop hurting in a few days, so hopefully by my chemo treatment on Monday I should be fine.

Also, I am at the point where I absolutely can NOT eat by mouth now. The radiation has damaged my mouth so bad that even taking a drink of water is painful. I am taking everything through my feeding tube. Please pray that I get all the nutrition I need to keep my weight up. Also, anybody with the means to paypal, please do. The cans of Ensure get expensive after a while. I am on borrowed cans that have technically expired, but the hospital says they should be fine. I don't like drinking milk on its expiration day, this stuff is canned and at least 2 months past it's exp date. YIKES!

OK so I have been off work the past two weeks  because I was told the short term disability kicks in after two weeks. The small detail that was forgotten to be told to me was the fact that the first two weeks are NOT covered by the short term disability. Meaning, I wil not be getting paid for the past two weeks off. 

In order for the short term disability to be worth anything to me, I have to continue to stay off work and hope the pay gets approved.  This is confusing to me because I was planning to go back to work next week, but then again I am not feeling much better than when I took the time off work to begin with.

Please pray for wisdom for what I should do, strength to go back to work if that is what I need, and the disability payment to be approved.
