  We must remember that Christ died at Golgotha, which means place of the skull.  An inspiring sermon i received reminded me of this.  This let me know how he fought his last battle in a place that would remind us of where we fight our last battle, our minds. 
  Our sense of lust(of struggle of mine, please pray for me and others you know under this yoke), over-intellectualizing(here i show up again) lack of cooperation(ok ok you are learning what i am being delivered through, for through His stripes we are all healed) are all hindering us from getting that purity of heart, which is from what I know and am now reading by Kierkeegard, is to will one thing(i just started reading so i don't know all he is saying on it, but i have a feeling I get the basics).  This one this is submission to His perfect will for us, but a learned,sincere one.  Jesus let us know that we would do more in our time with the Holy Spirit than he ever did in his time. Mark 16:18 is an example of this promise(it talks about immunity to poisons and serpents when operating in the Spirit) 
  One of the things he did in his time was heal by touch.  Where did he touch?  It could have been anywhere he chose, but just maybe it was one of the pressure points.  These same pressure points correspond to what western medicine has confirmed as neural pathways. 
  I am in no way advocating Electro Shock therapy, but they must have had an 'enlightened' view, becuase in my recent past as a lifeguard, Electronic Defibulators were part of our training.  Whereas I'm honestly believe as my faith and training increases(mutually exclusive, yet complimentary, thank Jesus for free will) I will be able to access the same points this shock does to get the heart moving again.   In this great commission, we have to be ready to be native like the restless(there is no rest in hell), so we can humbly assist the restless natives into the light(which is Jesus, of course ).  Or in other words, accept some gifts, because we have the ultimate gift to share with them, Eternal Sunshine or Salvation as it is known.  And he let us know how to do this, because they would give us the gifts for God's sake and not our own.  Now I release yall from my 'rant', please take what is pure and true from this and pray for the knowledge to disavow anything that must be.

The Valley of Decision

 

Joel 3:9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up.

 

This prophecy of Joel is primarily for the now-generation of Christians. The endtime battle is at hand. And those who are not prepared for this war will be vulnerable to defeat. Paul said, We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12. In other words, the war will not be outside of us. The battle is in the high places, and the high places are just above our shoulders. The carnal mind is the greatest enemy we have, for it is enmity against God (Romans 8:7). Jesus Christ was crucified at Golgotha, the place of the skull (John 19:17). And that is where this battle will take place, the place of the skull.

 

It would be easy to prepare for war against an outside force. But the war we must prepare for is within us, and that will require a much greater dedication to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Are you prepared to defeat self? Are you able to put the self-life to death? That is the battle we’re facing now! For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it. Matthew 16:25. If we allow the soul life to live, we will suffer defeat. If we defeat it, we will gain life.

 

II Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds (And where are these strongholds?);

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

 

The enemy is the carnal mind, and the battleground is within us. This will be the great endtime battle! Some Christians are talking about a third world war, or a great endtime battle in the Holy Land. That would be much easier. It wouldn’t require as much dedication. However, we are the “Holy Land” that will experience this war.

 

Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the Day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.

 
Christians, it is decision time! What are we going to do about God’s archenemy? The bulk of the preparation will be completed when we have set our hearts to put the self-life to death. There has to be a total dedication. Half-heartedness will not conquer the foe.

Chris you're a great friend and brother in the Lord and I promise to keep praying for you and Crystal as you go through this.  I know you know God is so much bigger than all of this and holds you guys in His hands.  Just rest on the knowledge of His faithfulness...I know it's hard at times...but I have experienced it time and time again.  He is and always will be faithful.

Keep us updated and just know that you are loved and we are lifting you up!
