Finally!

Finally, I'm so happy, I'm taking on the biggest debt of my life today!

My wife and I are closing on our first house today. It's a big step for us. It's going to flip our budget upside down. We're no longer going to have idiot landlords standing between God's authority and our household. We're going to have space for guests finally, and a tool from which to help build our church's vision for radical, community living and ministry.

It's going to be fantastic. How do I know this? Because every stupid, hellish, annoying, angering problem has come at us on the way here. We close today, but the enemy has taken every pathetic effort he could dig up to try and throw at us. But we're like the enterprise, baby. Shields are still holding, because Scotty is a genius.

So, this is more of a praise than anything else. Today we close on a house. Today we finally are the only thing that stands between God and our household. Today WE can choose to surrender our wills and not have to worry about someone else's.

Looks good, dude. I have a friend that's a contractor and I've been able to see few houses go up, its cool to see.

could get a nice studio in that garage... or just have a party in it!

that's some nice house. Would prob cost £300,000 in my part of town these days - being detached and all that. Though i'd get that big step at the back seen to... Wink
