Just thought I'd let everyone know that the latest skycalled (hoping to have them once every 3 months from this point on) went off really well in Regina, Canada last night.  We had about 100 people for the 5 hour event, complete with artists painting live.

We started it off with a sweet worship band and then jumped into 3 1.5 hour DJ sets.

- FreddieQ (that would be me)
- DJ Hippo

Hippo played an ON FIRE electro/house set that had some of the kids from the local trance scene bowing down before him in mock worship    All in fun!  I'll post some video and/or pics soon.

Looking forward to seeing this event build.

Hey, although I'm not the organizer, I obviously was there, so let me see if I can give you a bit more of that information you are looking for ...

The events been running for a number of years, although in the last two it has slowed down to almost a stand-still (only one event each year) because of people moving, key people stepping aside ... you know the drill.  However, there is a passionate core group that has once again been established and I think the hope is to hold an event every four months in the future (next one is set for mid-January).

This last event met in a hall (old school maybe?) that would hold about 200.  We had just nicely 100 who showed up.  There were a number of youth group kids and some college students, but also a handful of kids for the local rave (or whatever it is called at the moment) scene.
