Ah.... Good times... good times.

It was cool to finally meet you, Chris. I enjoyed the parking lot chat. Jess seems really cool. Next time Kairsie tries to get me to dance, I'll have to bust out the ballroom dancing lessons, and take her for a tango! laugh

Once I get the vids off my camera, I'll stick the decent ones up somewhere. I didn't bother trying to take pictures since my camera is horrible for photos in low lighting. Would've been nice to have gotten a pic or two taken with you guys, but I ditzed and didn't think of it. Huh

Hopefully, it won't be another year before I make it out again!

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.

Drew, I wish I had recorded the night, but I didn't want to get any type of audio glitches from recording on the laptop while djing on it...  (doesn't happen often but has happened before)   We'll be recording Club Truth on the 29th though so look forward to that!   Grin

hey, aren't you using traktor up there? I thought it could record the midi from any set you played. You could then export it like you would from ableton later.

yes it can but it was buggy in version 3.2 and I haven't tried it in 3.2.2 so I didn't want to risk it making my mix all weird... when I get my new laptop (woohoo!!) I will be able to record EVERYTHING for you hungry TFers :-P

VERY interesting. BTW, I'm VERY tempted to move from ableton to traktor. The only issue is having a decent controller.

it's simple! Just get a lemur... haha what you don't have $3,000 laying around??  Grin

Seriously though, there are a ton of new controllers coming out that are great but I also understand it's like, "how many controllers can you buy??" lol  the novation should work though pretty well ... especially with the trigger finger too...

I'm using my BCD2000 w/ the trigger finger, but once they add rotary midi feedback, I'm probably gonna switch over to my BCR2000 so I can get better 4 deck control...
