Tastyfresh Presents... monthly right here on TF

yeah, I need to get on that SOON. Why? B/c I want to make sure we get plenty of decent demos.

Here's the thing: If you are serious about djing, you should have a new flawless demo every month or two... with new material on it.

I'd also like to say this about Cornerstone demos.  Perhaps this should go into a new thread as well....

When you're getting ready to submit a Cstone demo,  please remember what exactly you're doing...You're not headlining,  you're opening.  As an opening DJ,  your job is to build a vibe and set the tone forthe evening.  It's not to blow the place out with the biggest hottest tracks.  I have to say that's why some demos were thrown out last year.  Being the opening DJ is the hardest thing you'll ever do as a DJ,  but it's also the most valuable thing to learn to do.

in addition to that, as awesome as it would be to get a chance to DJ at the dance barn, DJing on the TF Sound System rocks almost as much!!  I didn't get to DJ at the barn but did get an opportunity to rock a set on the sound system and I had a blast!!  Even though I did bring the storm (literally!)

I think Stumblebum and I want to audition to go this coming year. We're about to be neighbors anyway, and have thrown around the idea of collaborating on tracks and trying to put together something akin to a live collab set. Plus, I might actually have the time (and vacation days) to do it this coming year. Smiley

Nevermind. I just realized that I am completely wrong.

http://pics.tolldog.com/artists?page=1 Tim took pictures of everything that year and you aren't there. It was a really solid lineup, however. LOTS of DJ's!
