Okay, sure. I am among the non-married on here. I'm fine with that, since that is where I am, isn't it?
But, open to other possibilities, I suppose, but not setting up false expectations. I'm almost 30, so it's about time I settled down. I'm kinda doin' that, anyway.
Name: Faith
Sex: not so much
Marital status: happily single but open to other options. I really am!
Looking for: Someone to be friends with first, get to know, and then transition to something more
About me: I'm a complex sort of person, very easily likeable by all, and have a variety of different interests. I work in the healthcare field, enjoy playing music on the side, travelling. I love my cats, but don't plan on ever having more than 3, although I'm tempted...... I'm becoming more of a quiet, relaxed, laid-back family person (I'm moving back to my hometown to be closer to my parents, in fact.) I'm totally into alternative/folk medicine and plan on practicing it on the side, in addition to going into advanced practice nursing. I love helping people and couldn't imagine doing anything else. I'm whimsical and will always be a little kid at heart. Oh, I was a roller girl, and a wannabe rockstar. The band didn't exactly pan out -- the other guy was a slacker and more concerned about dating me. Ugh.
Questions for inquiring potential mates:
What are your beliefs, and why?
What do you want to accomplish with a wife in your life?
Do you want to have kids? How soon?
Do you prefer living in the South?
City or country for you?

Name: Kevin
Sex: I am aware of it, yes.
marital status: Comfortably single
Looking for: Someone who's not an idiot. harder to find than you'd think.
About me: i'm trapped somewhere between type A and Type B personality. Very much into all forms of music. Loved to travel. Cooking is also a hobby. favorite sports are racing and hockey(I'm a huge Atlanta thrashers fan.) I will live no further north than Atlanta. Cold places=not for me.

This has little to nothing to do with online dating, but oh well....
My best tidbit of dating advice:
Don't look for someone who's like you. You will find yourself irritating.
Next best tidbit:
Don't date someone that your not friends with.
When my wife and I started dating, we had people tell us we were stupid and that it wouldn't last because we were so different. On the surface, we are. Our tastes and interests differ a lot, but we'll do things that the other likes simply to give that person joy and to enjoy being with them, or we'll have times where we do our own thing.
However, (and this kind of takes us to tidbit #2) Denise and I are very similar in our belief systems and core values. There is little that matters that we disagree on. In fact, the rare times when we do really fight, we're typically yelling the same thing at each other just using different words. We calm down, communicate better, and realize that, d'oh, we actually weren't disagreeing with each other, we were miscommunicating.
Before we dated, Denise and I spent hours and hours on the phone talking about anything and everything. Since we weren't together in person much, we were less worried about acting to impress the other person. And after so many hours on the phone, you either (1) run out of things to talk about or (2) start to talk about the real meat issues of life. If we'd started dating before becoming friends, we'd have judged each other superficially and probably broken up pretty quickly, figuring that we had nothing in common.

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.

Josti, you're not on the list cause I have no freakin clue who you are.
.....but girls, I did learn THIS the other day....
apparently every other male techie at Club Worship has liked me at one point or another.
So apparently I am dating material......something just goes wrong in the asking process I suppose.
No guts no glory. Silly boys
