well... it gives you a chance to keep the laptop hidden. All the ppl will see if you place it correctly are your midi controllers.

Regardless, it's an education issue. I don't find watching a DJ all that interesting outside of watching him hit buttons, slide faders and turn knobs. I can't see any difference between that and what a digital dj does. The only difference is a screen on the table.
