Carey Does Europe

My wife and I will be making a trip to Europe this October, and I'm excited because it's something I've always wanted to do.
We are reading a lot of books, doing research and stuff, but I know some of you fellow Tasty folks actually live there and could tell us more than any other source, so any advice is welcome and appreciated!
We have October 1st-14th off from work and are flying.
Our top Priorities are seeing Paris, London, Rome, and Venice.
The plan is to fly into Paris, head to London next, head to Rome after that (stopping in Amsterdam if there is time), then to Venice, and then back to Paris to fly home.
There is certainly much more I'd like to see if there is time, but I'm not sure that there is!
Advice from anyone on anything is appreciated

That's one place I'd really love to visit, and see Steve Jeffrey and the 24-7 Prayer ministry in action, but I'm not sure if there's time. Also there's the whole history of dance music there, and the beauty of the island.
If there is time, I am there!

my only experience is with England. there's a MILLION cool things to do there. I'd suggest:
1. a double decker bus tour of London. it's a cheesy touristy thing to do..and worth every penny. takes a couple hours.
2. take a day trip tour. we did stonehenge-lunch somwhere-bath. its was a nice way to spend a day, and you don't have to worry about figuring out where you're going.
3. take in a play/show if you're wife is into that sort of thing. in Leicester square they sell half off tickets the day of the show. we didn't have trouble getting tickets to anything there :-)
4. there's always the museums/etc.
also optionally go to croydon & see vince & louis! (it's like 15-20 min south of london by train.) even if you don't see them, it's the best people watching i got in on my trip. i'm into that sort of thing though, so you may want to stick to the touristy things

You are going to come back a changed man! Travelling gives great perspective (at least it did for me). Getting out of America and seeing the rest of the world is a real eye-opener. I only went to London, Germany and Denmark back in '97. It changed my life for good. Coming back to my little dingy workplace after being in huge gothic churches was a shocker!
Safe trip and God Bless

What trip to Europe would be complete without a visit to Croydon!! - The home of my Uncle David (and Dubstep!!)

So how about a trip up to us at Loughborough (pronounced: Luffbra) for a trip around Aloft Studios!!! (slightly smaller than Universal Studios!)
Have a great trip!
