does anyone know how to setup a computer to be a server for a terminal service, or for a host of remote desktop connection?

what i would like to do is work on my computer from my pocket pc over the internet.  any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

If your looking to remote desktop, what are your host and client Windows versions.

well ideally i would like to have my host as my laptop running windows xp home sp2, and connect via wifi to my pocket pc windows mobile 5.

Terminal Services Server is a paid option on Server 2003.  Just use basic TS.

Start -> Run -> MSTSC

i have a program on my ipaq that is called terminal services client, and the instructions make it perfectly clear that it works just fine, any suggestions?
i do not doubt that you can pda into windows, it's how do i set up the server that is the bulk of my question.  thank for your comment, though Nathan.

To be honest with you man the best and quickest way to do this through a browser is www.gotomypc.com


I use it all the time at work and is worth its weight in gold, pretty secure at that.

VNC is awesome. I got a client for my treo and can do pretty much whatever on my phone that i can do on my pc. Wouldn't want to work that way for long, but for throwing up a quick file or restarting a VM, it's pretty cool.
