wel it's not going well.    The application was rejected for lack of experience...apparently 4 years of full time work isn't equivalent to their demand for 18 credit hours towards a bachelors degree  ...or one year experience... 

So I called the recruitment office to ask of a reconsideration...and it'll be a bit before I hear back on that. 

yea...3 years with music, 1.5 years in video (thats just the feature not counting shorts and current projects)  ...thats the full time stuff...plus part time 8 years volunteering sound at church, 1 year fashion photography,  plus I'm the global 'go-to guy' going on 3 years now for Aardvark Audio product support (defunct manufacturer for recording sound cards and word clocks)

Plus I DO have an Associate of Arts Degree...

With the VA it's unlikely that there was any competition for the vacancy... because it was the health administration side...and nobody thinks of them except nurses and doctors...  in any case it should have at least been forwarded for consideration.  I can take people thinking I suck

It's not being forwarded.

They don't want to count the band at all towards audio experience...

Basically, they agreed that I do have enough experience to be forwarded but that because I didn't properly account for all of it on the actual resume the only thing they can apply is part of the movie... 1700hours out of 1900hours towards a necessary total of  2087hours

In actuality I'm well above 7000 hours - if I include the band.... but because I didn't explain how that relates to audio production they didn't count any of those 4000hours...

and only 3 other people had their applications forwarded.
