I was looking through ebay and I found a 1984 edition Optimus Prime (the very model I used to play with as a kid, but it was my friend's). The bid was only at $41 so I figured I would up it to $42, then I was informed that I was outbid immediately. Then I upped it to $45 and again I was outbid. I then realized the person who was outbidding me probably set a ridiculously high max bid which was outbidding me every time. CURSES!!! FOILED AGAIN!!!!

I decided to check out other listings and every one I found was either not the one I wanted or had a really high bid already.

I just want one toy from my silly childhood. I never got a chance to own any cool toys as a result of my parents being on welfare. Please God, let me own Optimus Prime...and a Punky Brewster poster.

There seem to be several up now.

Not that it helps, there's a re-release of the ORIGINAL Shockwave currently at toys r us for $30. It includes both Lazerbeak and Ravage. Wink Very cool and very tempting. I've got a couple of the reissues and they're very special to me. A GREAT buy though is the deluxe Titanium edition of Shockwave though.

My brother-in-law got me a full set of oldschool A-Team action figures for my 30th birthday last week.  From a garage sale, not ebay, but they had all their gear.  Now I'm going to hunt down one of the vans!

In my office at work, I've got my set of these guys (except gramma)...

(Sorry, couldn't find a pic of the actual figures.) Also a yard sale find.
