Okay here's the thing....I am DJing for a youth dance in August and I wanted to have something a little cooler than just my MAC and ITunes playing the music.

I have an Oxygen 8 and Ableton Live 4.0....is there another software type of thing I can get....just wondering about something that will just allow me to easily fade from one track to another or maybe from one IPod to say my MAC and that type of thing?  Any suggestions?

Let me know :-)

there's tons of programs you can crossfade with:  http://www.download.com/sort/3120-20_4-0-1-4.html?qt=dj+software&ca=20

check this out (it's free):  http://www.download.com/DeKstasy/3000-2182_4-10290914.html?tag=lst-4-7

mixing from ipod to your mac you're either gonna need a cheap mixing board....or an interface that's really expensive.  honestly? i'd just buy a mixing board and run the audio out from your ipod and your mac. then you'd have "2 decks" to play from...

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I’m found.
Was blind, but now I see.
